my gosh, today must have been the most exciting srp meeting ever! omg. sharon and i had a meeting with our mentor at 6 pm at nus today! haha so we went together yayy ((: and had a nice bus ride there as usual ((: oh and she bought nice sweets! haha the long long kind omg damn fun we had a sweet eating competition at the bus stop while waiting (:
oh and we reached there on time today omg! ((: haha we did bell's inequality today, brain spoil as usual. haha we were doing that till the session ended at 8 can! and that's when the real excitement began omg!
we went to the bus stop to wait for 95, and then two 95s came, but none of them stopped cos they were too full ): so we finally got tired of waiting, and so we hopped onto an internal bus, hoping to get to the mrt! problem was, the bus didn't get us anywhere near the mrt! it looped around prince george's residences, and by then, sharon and i realised that we were terribly lost, and freaked out for a while, and then we alighted once the bus looped back to where we first boarded it o.0. which means that we were essentially back to square one lah. okays so we walked some distance until we reached a bus stop outside of the campus, and then we found out that there were buses going to harbourfront mrt! so we took a bus and then alighted at harbourfront and took the mrt home. o.0 omg lah such an arduous journey right! and omg we were really getting very freaked out already lah, cos it was so late at night, and we were kinda lost at first, and we were totally wondering what time we'd finally be able to get home! omg i am really so so thankful for having sharon there lah omg, she was damn nice company omg (: haha sharon was grateful for me too yayy yayy (((: haha but my gosh it really felt like some sort of adventure or whatnot can, and i was kinda wondering for a while if we'd manage to find our way out of nus. )): scary lah seriously.
haha anyway the mrt ride home was seriously funny hahaha. sharon was nagging me about reading newspapers as usual, then somehow our convo evolved into a current affairs sort of quiz?!
i was quite pro at first kayy, you have to admit. haha (:
sharon: kayy who's phelps?
me: uhh michael phelps? the american swimmer?
sharon: how many gold medals?
me: eight
sharon: how many records broken?
me: uhhh 3?
sharon: nope 6
me: omg i almost wanted to say 6!
sharon: who's lin dan?
me: uhhh.... china person?
sharon: uh huh, very good! somemore?
me: uhhh... table tennis player!
sharon: badminton player.
sharon: feng tian wei?
me: table tennis player!
(yayy see quite pro so far right! )
me: haha see i'm so pro! (((: ask me about anwar!
sharon: *rolls eyes* kayy who's thaksin shinawatra?
me: ex-thai dpm!
sharon: ex-thai pm... where is he now?
me: uh, in thailand?
sharon: in exile! in UK.
me: oops!
sharon: who's the pm of malaysia?
me: abdul rahman!
sharon: uhh that was ages ago! tunku abdul rahman ah hahaha
me: oh man.
haha there was a whole load of other funny stuff too haha just that i can't remember now haha oh noes, time to brush up on current affairs! xD
